Over the last year, the Kumeu Country Market has become a “destination market”, attracting thousands of visitors from all over Auckland and beyond. Held at the picturesque Kumeu Showgrounds, this once-monthly market offers a fantastic selection of superb quality stalls with products that will appeal to even the most discerning of tastes. In addition, the market has a distinctly “mini festival” feel with live entertainment, mini carnival areas for the kids and wonderful food and beverages to savour whilst sitting on the lawn enjoying the ambience.
If you’re looking for a gift for that someone special or simply after something unique for yourself or your home, come along and browse the array of stalls selling everything from boutique-style clothing, exquisite jewellery, homewares, pet care products, baby gear, toys and health and beauty products to fresh local produce, gourmet food and delectable sweets and chocolates. You are certain to find something truly special!
Entry to the market is free but you may be asked for a $2 donation for parking, proceeds of which go to local charities or schools. Eftpos facilities are also available on site. Regretfully, dogs are not permitted on the Showgrounds.
All in all, the Kumeu Country Market provides the entire family with a great day out, so come along and enjoy. You won’t be disappointed!
Where are we?
Please note there is a $2.00 coin donation for car parking and a variety of local schools benefit from this. Also please be aware that dogs are not permitted on to the Kumeu Showgrounds.
Since its inception in December 2010, the Kumeu Country Market has most certainly become one of Auckland’s favourite monthly events. Rain or shine, winter or summer, the indoor-outdoor market always draws crowds of people who are intent on having a relaxing day out with family whilst being able to do some shopping and stock up the larder.
The organisers of the market endeavour to ensure that the stalls are always of the highest quality and, wherever possible, prefer to offer space to crafters and stallholders whose products are locally produced and original. This is definitely not a “car boot sale” style market. For anyone interested in having a stall, please contact Courtney by clicking here or 027 688 0818
Look forward to seeing you all at the next market!
